Shrewsbury striker Michael Symes is joining League Two rivals Bournemouth on a one-month loan.
The 25-year-old has agreed to the move and is set to make an immediate debut for Jimmy Quinn's men.
Symes, who has scored 23 goals in 112 career appearances, came through the youth ranks at Everton.
But he has struggled to hold down a place at the Prostar Stadium under Paul Simpson and could make his Cherries debut against Accrington on Saturday.
He will be unavailable to play in Bournemouth's FA Cup second round tie against Blyth Spartans after being part of the Shrewsbury side that lost to the north-east outfit on Saturday.
Shrews boss Simpson told his club's website: "We have a big squad and I felt that the opportunity for Michael to go and get a month out on loan at Bournemouth would do him the world of good.
"It also gives me the chance to clear a space to bring somebody else in as well."
