Warburton ends career
Boston United defender Ray Warburton has decided to hang up his boots following a number of injuries.

The 35-year-old, who last played for the club against Hull in November, has decided that he can no longer compete at professional level.

He may stay at York Street in a coaching capacity and will make an announcement regarding his future in the next few weeks.

Warburton made nearly 200 appearances for Northampton and also had spells at Rotherham, York and Rushden & Diamnonds.

He joined Boston in March last year.

Meanwhile Boston have appointed former Huddersfield Town player, Daryl Pugh, as their new Soccer Academy Director.

Pugh has been on the coaching staff at the Leeds United Academy.
