 Nelsen broke his leg in April against Charlton |
Blackburn defender Ryan Nelsen has agreed terms on a new four-year contract with the club. The 28-year-old has impressed at centre-back since joining from Major League Soccer club DC United in 2005, making 55 appearances for the club.
He helped Blackburn finish in sixth place last season and qualify for the Uefa Cup.
Nelsen, who broke his leg in April, has won 29 caps for New Zealand, scoring five goals.
