Birmingham City were beaten 3-0 by Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal in the final match of their pre-season tour.
Midfielder Keith Fahey played a part in Austria after recovering from a groin injury as he builds up his fitness.
The Blues lost all three of the games on their tour, failing to score and conceding seven goals in the process.
Manager Alex McLeish told the official Blues website: "We would have preferred better results, but pre-season is all about fitness."
