Birmingham City lost their second consecutive match on their pre-season tour of Austria.
After defeat against Stuttgart, Alex McLeish's side were beaten 2-0 by German second division outfit FC Augsburg on Thursday evening.
Marcus Bent started up front alongside Kevin Phillips and Garry O'Connor and Scott Dann made his debut in defence after recovering from a knee injury.
Augsburg's goals came from Tobias Werner (22) and Elton da Costa (74).
Birmingham have one match left of their pre-season tour, they take on Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal on Sunday evening.
