Birmingham City will prepare for their return to the Premier League with another pre-season tour of Austria.

Blues boss Alex McLeish was impressed with the facilities when the team toured the country last summer and has decided to return for a second time.

The squad will travel to Austria on 19 July and return to England on 27 July.

Birmingham are scheduled to play three matches during their tour but the opposition teams for those games have yet to be confirmed.

McLeish told the club's website: "We're returning to familiar surroundings because it was successful, so why not go back?

"We were very comfortable in Austria last year and the facilities were very good."

Blues bounced back to the Premier League at the first attempt, finishing second in the Championship behind West Midlands rivals Wolves.
