Britton's Bath side were promoted from Blue Square South via the play-offs
Boss Adie Britton says Bath City are on course to hit their 48-point target and stay in the Blue Square Bet Premier.
City secured a point at home to high-flying Fleetwood Town to take their haul to 24 points three matches before the halfway mark of the campaign.
"We said at the beginning of the season that 48 points should do it," Britton told BBC Radio Bristol.
"So we're halfway there. It's a milestone for us and I'm really pleased with the progress we're making."
Bath took the lead against Fleetwood through Marc Canham but had to withstand a second-half surge from the visitors, who levelled the match on 65 minutes.
"That was probably the most difficult half of football we've had this season. They were certainly the best side we've played against and they kept the ball exceedingly well," added Britton.
"Sometimes you have to sit back and admire it and we did very well to get a point.
"It's the first point we've taken off the top three or four sides this season, so it's another step forward in terms of confidence."
City, who are unbeaten in four games and 14th in the table, next face struggling Histon away on Thursday before table-topping Crawley visit Twerton Park on Tuesday, 30 November.
