Both sides finished with 10 men as Charlton secured victory over Yeovil.
Johnnie Jackson put the Addicks in front, before Andrew Williams equalised with a 20-yard drive.
Therry Racon restored Charlton's lead, but Gary Doherty's own goal put the scores level again and Christian Dailly saw red for elbowing Sam Williams.
Paul Huntington was also dismissed for fouling Akpo Sodje in the area, with Jackson converting the penalty to seal victory for the home side.
Charlton midfielder Johnnie Jackson told BBC London 94.9: "It was a tough game today and we didn't play our best.
"It was 2-2 and we were down to 10 men, so it looked like it could have been a bad day for us.
"At that stage we probably would have taken a draw so to get a winner so late on, was doubly pleasing."
