Wiles spent a year with Scottish Football League side Dunfermline
Blue Square Premier side Barrow have signed unattached winger Simon Wiles.
Wiles, 24, has experience in both English and Scottish league football, having made more than 60 appearances for a trio of clubs.
The Preston-based player spent five years at Blackpool after signing in July 2003, with two spells on loan at Macclesfield Town during his stay.
He then joined Scottish side Dunfermline but struggled with injury before his release in August 2009.
The player is available for Barrow's FA Trophy campaign, having completed his registration with the Bluebirds before the 1200 BST deadline on Friday, 8 January.
