Rogan (left) was stretchered off before the half-hour with a head injury.
Barrow striker Nick Rogan was taken to hospital for observation following a head injury sustained in the club's 1-0 friendly defeat by a Celtic XI.
Rogan, 25, was injured on 29 minutes in a collision with Celtic full-back Jason Marr, and joint-boss Dave Bayliss admitted it was a worrying situation.
"The physio said he swallowed his tongue, was choking on blood and having fits," he told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"When he was getting stretchered off he was OK but he'll miss a few weeks."
The match was held up for 10 minutes while the two players received treatment and were eventually taken to hospital.
Meanwhile the Barrow joint-boss was pleased with the response of his players to the match, particularly in light of Rogan's knock.
The Bluebirds travel to Sussex on Friday ahead of the weekend trip to Crawley, and Bayliss felt the game provided ideal preparation for the upcoming fixture.
"It was good, and then there was a 10 minute delay for Nick's injury, and the pattern of the game went a bit and the lads lost their edge," he added.
"It was important for the lads who hadn't played to get a full 90 minutes and they'll benefit from that, but the injury soured it a bit.
"But it was good to see so many young players and the ones who came on as sub did really well.
"We can keep a closer eye on them now because they've really impressed me and Darren, and on that performance tonight we wouldn't be scared of chucking them in now."
