Logan has been converted to a left-back this season
Barrow joint-boss Dave Bayliss has tipped defender Carlos Logan to make a return to league football.
The 23-year-old has previous league experience with Darlington, Chesterfield and Bradford City.
"People were saying don't touch him, he's got a bit of an attitude," Bayliss told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"But he has been first-class and now we're looking for him to push on into a League One or League Two team, maybe even a Championship team."
Logan joined The Bluebirds in the summer after a brief spell with Altrincham last season.
"He actually dropped down to the Unibond league with Woodley Sports," Bayliss said.
Hopefully he can stay with us longer because he's the kind of player we need
Dave Bayliss
"We took a bit of a gamble on him, we knew his ability but were a little bit wary of his temperament.
"Me and Darren [Sheridan] basically said this is your last chance saloon, if you get released by us then no-one will touch you with a barge-pole."
Logan, who began his career with Manchester City as a trainee, began the current Blue Square Premier season as a winger but has been converted to a left-back.
"He's been a different class and probably our most consistent player this season so far.
"He's got a thing that people love and that's sheer pace. He can play at left-back and left-wing, he's versatile.
