Barnsley have signed forward Danny Haynes from Championship rivals Bristol City for an undisclosed fee.
The former England Under-19 cap, who turned 23 on Wednesday, has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Bristol City signed Haynes from Ipswich in 2008 and he played 54 games during his 18-month spell at Ashton Gate, scoring eight goals.
Reds boss Mark Robins told the club website: "He is a player with real pace and can score goals."
He added: "He is a little raw but is someone we are looking forward to working with and help develop as a player."
