New Bristol City forward Danny Haynes says facing Martin Jol's Ajax side will prove to be an interesting experience.
City take on the Dutch giants in a pre-season friendly and Haynes thinks it will be a great way to start his career at Ashton Gate.
"It'll be an interesting game obviously with Martin Jol coming down," he told BBC Points West.
"There will times when we don't get the ball and we have just got to make sure we keep our position."
Haynes agreed a three-year contract with City after signing from Ipswich for an undisclosed fee, one of six signings made by manager Gary Johnson so far this summer, and he said he has settled in quickly.
"It's going well," he added. "The gaffer has confidence in me. I hope I can win the fans over by showing them what I can.
"I've come to that stage in my career now where I need to start in all games not just one or two like I have done previously."
