Barnsley goalkeeper David Preece has signed a contract extension to keep him at Oakwell until 2011.
The 33-year-old joined the Reds on a free transfer in 2009 and has made five first-team appearances.
Preece started his career at Sunderland before moving to Darlington, where he played 107 games for the Quakers.
He then spent six years at Aberdeen, making 106 starts for the Scottish side before switching to Danish club OB Odense in 2008.
