Young Barnsley forward Michael Coulson has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a recurrence of a cruciate knee ligament injury.

The 21-year-old, who has made three appearances this season, was involved in a training ground collision.

Barnsley physio Matt Konapinski told the club website: "It is really bad news and heartbreaking for Michael.

"He will be working hard over the next few months and the summer to get back fit for the start of next season."
