Barnsley midfielders out injured

Martin Devaney
Devaney will be out of action for at least eight weeks

Barnsley will be without midfielders Martin Devaney and Diego Leon for several weeks after both players suffered injuries.

Devaney is likely to be out of action for the next two months after he ruptured ankle ligaments.

Leon has been ruled out for several weeks with a groin strain.

Reds boss Simon Davey told BBC Radio Sheffield: "Martin's looking at a minimum of eight weeks and we're going to have to be careful with the rehab."

He added: "We lost Diego with a groin strain in training which is disappointing, but we have Anderson De Silva that comes back in after suspension."
