Davey's side travel to QPR for their season opener

Barnsley manager Simon Davey has said he is on the lookout for two more signings, including a striker.

Barnsley have made four new additions to their squad this summer but Davey wants to strengthen further.

The Reds boss told BBC Radio Sheffield: "We were close to signing a striker last Friday but unfortunately for us it never materialised."

"We are always on the lookout for new players and hopefully I can add one or two more."
