Barnet sign England Under-19 goalkeeper Liam O'Brien
Managerless Barnet have signed former Portsmouth goalkeeper Liam O'Brien.
The England Under-19 international had been training with the Bees after leaving the Championship club.
The 19-year-old had a loan spell with Blue Square Bet Premier side Eastbourne earlier this season, but played in just one game - a 4-0 defeat at Barrow.
Barnet first team coach Michael Stone told the club's website: "He is a talented young goalkeeper with a huge amount of potential."
He added: "He has great stature and understands that the hard word really starts now as he strives to prove himself as a top class senior goalkeeper."
O'Brien said: "My aim is to be the number one keeper at the club and help Barnet stay up."
The League Two strugglers have not revealed the length of the deal.
Meanwhile, Bees caretaker boss Paul Fairclough has released defender Grant Basey and midfielder Danny Hart.
