Furlong has made a big impact at Barnet in only five games

Barnet have signed 40-year-old striker Paul Furlong on loan until the end of the season.

Furlong has already been on loan from Southend for five games and has scored twice during that spell.

The centre forward has played for nine clubs in his career, featured in over 600 games and scored almost 200 goals.

"He knows what his job is for the team, and scoring is a bonus. I'm more than happy to have him for the rest of the season," said manager Ian Hendon.
