Aston Villa defender Gary Cahill will discuss his future with manager Martin O'Neill after several clubs voiced their interest in signing him. The 22-year-old has returned from a loan spell with Sheffield United and the Blades are keen to take him back.
"There's substantial amount of interest in him and I think Gary is aware of that," O'Neill told the Villa website.
"People have been speaking to his agent, so I will sit down and run through things with him."
Cahill figured only twice for Villa this season before moving to Sheffield United in September on a three-month loan.

O'Neill also revealed Cahill will undergo minor surgery on a facial injury.
He said: "He's back with us but he has to have a minor operation - it's just a little thing on the side of his face, but it will only be a matter of days before he is fit."
