Cahill & Bardsley vital to Robson
Sheffield United manager Bryan Robson says it is important that he keeps loan duo Gary Cahill and Phil Bardsley.

The pair have played a pivotal role in the Blades side in recent weeks.

Centre-back Cahill joined in September on a three-month loan from Aston Villa. And defender Bardsley, Cahill's Villa team-mate last season, joined for the same period from Manchester United.

"I'm still waiting to hear from Villa about Gary's situation," said Robson. "But I'm hoping for positive news."

Robson also told BBC Radio Sheffield: "I've spoken to United and it looks like Phil will stay. But I'm not sure if it'll be a permanent deal or on loan."
