 Injuries prevented Berger having much impact last season |
Aston Villa midfielder Patrik Berger says he will quit the game if he suffers another injury-hit season. Injuries mean the Czech international has only played nine times since joining on a free transfer from Portsmouth last summer.
"If I had to go through the same again next year, I'd think it was time to hang up my boots and go home," he told the club website.
"I know 33 is young, but football-wise I'm not the youngest any more."
