Aston Villa midfielder Patrik Berger is set to make his comeback after four months out with a knee injury. Berger, who arrived on a free transfer from Portsmouth in the summer, is poised to turn out for the reserves against Sunderland on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old Czech last turned out for Villa in the Premiership clash with Manchester City on 31 October.
Villa boss David O'Leary said: "If he continues to progress the way he is, we will be able to introduce him."
