Aston Villa centre-back Liam Ridgewell has signed a new three-year deal with the club. The new contract will keep the England Under-21 international at Villa Park until 2008.
Ridgewell broke into the first team last season and has now established himself as a regular member of David O'Leary's back four.
The 21-year-old has made 39 appearances for Villa but has yet to open his goalscoring account.
