Sam Wedgbury began his career as a teenager with non-league Worcester

Altrincham have signed Macclesfield midfielder Sam Wedgbury on a one-month long loan and a duel registration deal with Salford City striker Steve Foster.

Wedgbury, 21, only joined the Silkmen in the summer on a one-year deal after being released by Sheffield United.

Foster, 29, has hit twenty goals so far this season for Salford City and will still be eligible to play for Evo-stik league side due to his registration.

Both players are available for the game against Hayes and Yeading tonight.
