Altrincham have signed Peterborough United youngster Carl Piergianni on a work experience agreement.
The 18-year-old defender made his debut for the Blue Square Bet Premier strugglers in Saturday's goalless draw with Wrexham.
Piergianni is a product of the Posh academy and made one senior appearance for them as a substitute against Rochdale in September.
A statement on the Altrincham website said he had signed an open-ended deal.
