Aldershot Town have signed striker Michael Rankine from Blue Square Bet Premier side York City.
The 26-year-old scored 23 goals in 105 appearances during his two-year stay with the Minstermen.
Rankine has also had spells with Barrow, Rushden & Diamonds and Scunthorpe United.
Aldershot manager Dean Holdsworth named four strikers among the seven out-of-contract players released by the League Two side on Wednesday.
