Rushden and Diamonds striker Michael Rankine has agreed a new long-term deal at Nene Park. Rankine, whose existing contract was due to expire at the end of the season, has now signed up until June 2011.
The former Scunthorpe United forward joined Rushden last summer from Conference North side Alfreton Town.
The 22-year-old has only scored five times this season, but is seen by new Rushden boss Garry Hill as part of his long-term plans.
