Sills set for Aldershot Town-Torquay United clash

Aldershot's Tim Sills says he will have no mixed emotions when Town meet his former club Torquay on Tuesday.

The 31-year-old striker, who joined the Shots from Stevenage in January, scored 43 goals in a two-and-a-half-year spell with the Gulls.

He told BBC Surrey: "I've still got a lot of friends there who I talk to, which is rare in football, and I had a great rapport with the fans.

"It will be a nice occasion for me but I'll be fully focused on doing my job."

Sills was part of the Torquay team that was promoted back to the Football League in 2009, with the former Oxford man scoring in the 2-0 play-off final win over Cambridge.

"That's the highest point of my career, scoring at Wembley in such an important game," he added.

A nine-match unbeaten run has seen Torquay climb to eighth in League Two, four points off the play-off places.

"They can mix it up a lot and will be full of spirit," Sills continued. "But every team in this league is beatable."
