Aldershot have signed defender Simon Grand on loan from Fleetwood Town for the rest of the season.
Grand, 26, has played in the Football League with Rochdale, Carlisle, Morecambe and Grimsby, and has recently completed a loan spell at Mansfield.
He becomes new Shots manager Dean Holdsworth's third signing since arriving eight days ago and joins the squad to face Crewe on Saturday.
Holdsworth has already signed strikers Peter Vincenti and Tim Sills.
