Ben Harding to remain committed to Aldershot Town

Aldershot Town midfielder Ben Harding says he will keep giving everything to the club despite his future being in the balance.

The 26-year-old was made available for loan in the last transfer window by Shots boss Kevin Dillon.

But Harding told BBC Surrey: "I'm happy to keep going until I end up leaving. I'll still give my heart to the team and give my all in training.

"I'm a professional and I make sure when I play I'll give my best."

He added: "It's one of those situations where it's happened and I'll take it on the chin."

Aldershot were beaten 1-0 by Rotherham on Saturday, but Harding is remaining positive as their next six games come against teams in the bottom half of the League Two table.

"You look at those games and think we could come away with a lot of points," he said.

"We have to take each game as it comes. The lads have stuck together tremendously and we've shown a lot of heart."
