Aldershot captain Anthony Charles will play his 200th game for the Shots against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday.
The defender has reached the milestone in three separate spells with the League Two club.
The 29-year-old told BBC Surrey: "It is nice to get the games. You mature on and off the pitch, get experience and build on your mistakes.
"Different managers build on you over time. I've enjoyed my spell so far so I'd like to play a lot more than 200."
The match has extra significance for Charles, as he spent two and a half years at Crewe under Dario Gradi between September 1999 and February 2002.

Charles left without making a first-team appearance for the Alex, but still looks back on his time there positively.
"I didn't make a game but I learnt so much from him [Gradi] and the other players there," he said.
"He took me out of non-league, developed me and taught me so much. I've got nothing but respect for him.
"After our results I want to go there, put in a solid performance and get the three points."
