Oliver Bozanic has already been out on loan this season at Cheltenham Town
New Aldershot manager Kevin Dillon has made his second deadline loan signing in two days by bringing in Oliver Bozanic from Championship side Reading.
Just a day after signing Bristol City striker Marlon Jackson, Dillon has called in a favour from his old club Reading by bringing in Bozanic.
The 20-year-old Australian is used primarily in a wide midfield role but can play anywhere on the left side.
Like Jackson, the deal was again funded by the Shots' Supporters' Trust.
Bozanic, who has represented his country at youth and Under-20 level, had a similar spell on loan at Woking last season, scoring twice in 18 games.
He also played four matches on loan at Cheltenham Town early this season.
I just wanted to being a couple of players in to add strength to the squad as we approach a busy period
Aldershot boss Kevin Dillon
Dillon said: "Oliver is somebody I know extremely well from my time at Reading.
"He is a talented player, a great dead ball specialist.
"And, having worked with him for over two years, I know all about his character.
"That is important when you are making a signing. It's similar to the arrival of Marlon Jackson. My number two Gary Owers had worked with him before at Bristol City.
"Although we have few injuries at the moment I just wanted to being a couple of players in to add strength to the squad as we approach a busy period."
The Shots are unbeaten in three games since Dillon came on on 9 November to replace Gary Waddock, following his departure to Wycombe.
And, ahead of Saturday's FA Cup second round date at League One strugglers Tranmere, Dillon's men lie eighth in League Two.
