Aldershot's Ben Harding says he is delighted to be back in action after three months out through injury.
The midfielder, who had been out with an Achilles tendon injury, returned in Saturday's 4-0 defeat by Queen's Park Rangers in a pre-season friendly.
The 24-year-old told BBC Sussex: "It was tough going but it'll come, and I'm glad to get through the 90 minutes.
"I've been doing all my rehab and its great. No player looks forward to the training but it's different for me."
Aldershot travel to Farnborough of the Southern League Premier Division on Wednesday for their next pre-season outing.
