Aldershot goalkeeper Nikki Bull is confident his side are capable of winning a second-successive promotion.
After winning the Blue Square Premier in Gary Waddock's first season in charge, the Shots are now sitting just outside the League Two play-off places.
And Bull told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "The play-offs are our aim but I'd even go as far to look at how far off the automatic places we are.
"There are a few sides in this division under pressure to go up. We are not."
Bull knows there is a history of clubs securing back-to-back promotions from the Conference to League One, with Hereford, Yeovil and Carlisle all managing it in recent years.
"The gaffer's been telling us that from day one," added Bull. "It is not impossible because it does happen.
"When you've got momentum and ride the crest of that wave, funny things happen."
