Aldershot's new loan signing Scott Davies says he turned down offers from League One clubs to re-join the Shots.

The midfielder, 20, has joined the League Two new boys for a year after scoring 10 goals whilst on loan at the Recreation Ground last season.

He told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "There were a few tempting offers. I've decided to go back to Aldershot because of last season.

"I trust the manager, Gary Waddock is good for younger players."
