Aldershot have completed the double signing of Sheffield United right-back Ben Starosta and Reading midfielder Scott Davies.
Starosta has joined on a month's loan, with a view to a permanent move and Davies, 21, on a season-long loan.
Starosta, also 21, spent time with Bradford and Brentford in League Two during last season.
"Ben will fit into our style of play. He's attack minded," boss Gary Waddock told BBC Southern Counties Radio.
"He's aware of the league and that experience will hold him and us in good stead," added Waddock.
The Shots have decided not to offer trialist Lee Canoville a contract.
