Aldershot boss Gary Waddock admitted fortune had been on his side as they beat York City 2-0 to record a fifth straight win. "York won't be down the bottom at the end of the season. They played well and probably feel they should have got something from the game," said Waddock.
"We rode our luck but we knuckled down to get a result and we needed to back up our victory at Oxford.
"We have done that with a victory at home, a clean sheet and three points."
