 Waddock's side have started the season well |
Aldershot boss Gary Waddock heaped praise on his players following their 3-2 victory at Oxford. John Grant's brace put Waddock's team in command and after Oxford hit back to level at 2-2, Lewis Chambers grabbed a late winner for the Shots.
Waddock said: "I'm pleased for the players and the staff. It was an all-round effort.
"I said to the lads they had to show composure - and John Grant showed that for his penalty and his other goal."
