1515: Football can be the cruellest game at times and, for Inverness fans, it's been a wretched afternoon. They were up against it from the moment Ross Tokely was given his marching orders.
Manager Terry Butcher says work begins now to plot his side's return to the top-flight. For Falkirk and St Mirren it's been a case of the great escape.
Thanks for your company and comments this afternoon. There's the small matter of the SPL title to be decided tomorrow and the race for the fourth and final European place.
See you then!
1510: "I can't believe my team are down. My other half supports Rangers, so I'm just hoping they don't win the league tomorrow or I'll never live it down!" Lannii85 on My Sport
1458: "In the first 10 minutes everything was going to plan. Then the red card comes out of nothing. It's the third time in as many games we've gone down to 10 men against Falkirk. We still made chances, but haven't taken them. We've shot ourselves in the foot. But these players have been unbelievable. I'm choked for them. The work starts now to bounce back." Inverness manager Terry Butcher
1450: "We're still in the SPL and we've got to learn from it. Especially at home. We don't want to be in this kind of situation every season. The only way we can move forward is to invest in the team." St Mirren manager Gus MacPherson
1440: "Delighted for Falkirk and all their fans. John Hughes is a very good manager. Unlucky to Terry Butcher and Inverness; I suppose that's just the way football goes." Aiden_McGeady_BhoyJo on My Sport
Inverness and St Mirren finish the season level on 37 points, but Terry Butcher's go down because of their inferior goal difference. Two goals have saved the Buddies. Their goal difference is -19, Inverness finish on -21. It could have been so different had Falkirk keeper Dani Mallo not been in such superb form.
1438: "I'm just so happy for our players, but we've won it by default. At half-time we had to organise the team and tell them how to play against 10 men." Falkirk manager John Hughes
1432: "All three of my teams have been relegated this season. Inverness, Southampton and West Brom. I'm off to buy a season ticket for next season for Portsmouth, Aston Villa and Aberdeen." Wayne? We've got Adam on My Sport
1424: Falkirk players sprint over to their fans to take their acclaim. Hugs, smiles and bear hugs all round.
Contrast that sharply with the Inverness players, staring at the turf. Some of their fans give a sporting round of applause - others look to be on the verge of tears.
Falkirk substitute Michael Higdon, on for only three minutes, scores the goal that preserves Falkirk's place in the SPL.
Richie Foran spurned a couple of chances early on for Inverness, while Brian Kerr, Dougie Imrie and Russell Duncan all passed up great chances to equalise and keep Terry Butcher's side up.
1423: FULL-TIME
Inverness 0-1 Falkirk
Falkirk secure their SPL status, Inverness are relegated.
1421: Dougie Imrie blazes over the bar; Inverness boss Terry Butcher puts his hands to his face in disbelief and the home fans know they're all but doomed.
1420: FULL-TIME
St Mirren 0-1 Hamilton
1419: FULL-TIME
Motherwell 1-2 Kilmarnock
1418:GOAL!
Motherwell 1-2 Kilmarnock
Kilmarnock seem to clinch victory with a superb goal. Nice play from David Fernandez set up Mehdi Taouil, who finished from a tight angle after a couple of step-overs.
1418: Four minutes of injury time at the Caledonian Stadium. Four minutes for Falkirk to survive and secure their SPL status.
1417: Inverness substitute Russell Duncan sends a tame shot into the arms of Dani Mallo. Another great chance. Falkirk are under siege...
1415: What a chance for Inverness! Brian Kerr shoots widely over the bar from just outside the box. Could that be their last chance to escape relegation.
1413: Carl Finnigan, with a miss that would make Peter Van Vossen blush, blazes over the bar from about four yards. An incredible miss! Unbelievable!
1412: Andy Barrowman comes on for Ian Black. The midfielder, who joins Hearts in the summer, cuts a bit of a forlorn figure as he trudges off.
1411: Desperation grips the home fans at the Caledonian Stadium. Inverness have seven minutes plus injury time to find an equaliser and escape the drop.
1408: "In the last 10 minutes Falkirk will defend deeper and deeper. They won't mean to, but that's what will happen as they try to defend their lead." BBC Scotland pundit Allan Preston
1407: GOAL!
Motherwell 1-1 Kilmarnock
Cillian Sheridan equalises for Well at Fir Park. The on-loan Celtic forward provides an expert finish following good work from David Clarkson.
1403: Hamilton keeper Sean Murdoch palms away Billy Mehmet's side-footed volley. The ball goes out for a corner, but Saints are unable to profit from the set-piece.
1402: Higdon's goal has restored colour to Falkirk cheeks all over the pitch. Falkirk scored with pretty much their first attempt on target. Will there be a sting in the tail?
1401: Inverness have a little over 18 minutes to escape relegation.
1359: The Falkirk fans are in great voice behind Inverness goalkeeper Michael Fraser's goal. An inspired substitution from John Hughes.
By contrast, Inverness boss Terry Butcher looks stunned. He's peering out from under that blue baseball cap; chatting to his assistant Maurice Malpas about what to do next.
1358: "And how fitting the man-of -the match Jackie McNamara involved. The first real chance of the match for Falkirk, and at last they show some desire!" BBC Scotland pundit Allan Preston
1357: GOAL!
Inverness 0-1 Falkirk
Michael Higdon puts Falkirk fans in dreamland, firing home Jackie McNamara's low cross.
1355: "Falkirk have not created a chance - not one thing! Lots of possession with nothing to show for it. And they're going down - exactly as Jim Traynor said at half-time - without even a whimper!" BBC Scotland pundit Allan Preston
1354: Michael Higdon comes on for Steve Lovell. Falkirk manager John Hughes will be hoping the big Englishman can provide a goal threat.
1353: "St Mirren just getting themselves into the game, but Hamilton are passing the ball about well. David Barron has been very influential for St Mirren." BBC Scotland pundit Murdo MacLeod
1352: "Brilliant commitment from every Inverness player right now." BBC Scotland pundit Allan Preston
Thirty eight games come down to 25 minutes to decide: secure SPL safety or face the dreaded drop.
1351: Young winger Jamie Murphy replaces the ineffectual John Sutton as Motherwell boss Mark McGhee seeks a way back into the game.
1350: As things stand, Falkirk are looking at life in the First Division next season. They've got Inverness pined in their own penalty area, but they can't find a breakthrough.
1349: Kilmarnock are forced to make their final substitution, another head knock forcing David Lilley to be replaced with Ryan O'Leary.
1348: Falkirk substitute Mark Stewart lobs the ball over Inverness keeper Michael Fraser as he rushes off his line, but Russell Duncan gets back to smash it clear.
1347: Falkirk manager John Hughes prepares another throw of the dice as Michael Higdon warms up on the touchline.
1346: A goalmouth scramble doesn't fall to an Inverness boot and Falkirk clear desperately. One goal could settle this game, but Inverness are performing well despite being down to 10 men.
1345: Mark Stewart replaces Arnau Riera and the Burns are showing renewed urgency.
1344: Motherwell defender Brian McLean sends a header against the crossbar, but Kilmarnock remain a goal ahead.
1342: "Is anyone else backing Falkirk? I'm slightly swaying towards them, but their lack thought or movement up top is becoming frustrating to watch. Arfield is showing some nice touches as is Burton O'Brien but Lovell and Finnigan seem to be on their heels every time." Ig_hibee on My Sport
1340: Carl Finnigan and Russell Duncan are told to cool it by referee Eddie Smith. The whistler pulls the players apart like two heavyweights and gives them a bit of a talking to. Heads bowed, they take the verbal blast and we're up and running again.
1337: A nasty challenge by Joel Thomas on Saints keeper Mark Howard straight after the restart that earns the Hamilton striker a yellow card to match his jersey.
1336: Carl Finnigan heads over his own bar as Inverness press for an early breakthrough in the second half.
"A real heart-in-the-mouth moment there for Falkirk." BBC Scotland commentator Scott Davie
1334: Motherwell lose Maros Klimpl after the first attack of the second half, the defender being injured as he put in attempt at goal and is replaced with Bob Malcolm.
1335: Back under way at St Mirren Park and Fir Park.
1333: The second half gets under way in Inverness.
1330: "You have to see more from Falkirk or they're just going down without a whimper. It would be a terrible shame if they just went down meekly, without testing Inverness." BBC Radio Scotland pundit Jim Traynor
1328: "Well, if the Bairns can't do it now, they've only themselves to blame. But it's St Mirren I'd like to see drop - we'll never forget '86." JimmyG on My Sport
1320: Referee Eddie Smith's trudge down the tunnel at the Caledonian Stadium is marked by a chorus of angry boos from the Inverness fans. They're far from happy over Tokely's dismissal, but the defender was all over the striker.
1319: HALF-TIME
Inverness 0-0 Falkirk
St Mirren 0-1 Hamilton
1317: "What's with all these Inverness players crying? It's a man's game, get on with it." Moreno510 on My Sport
That's harsh Moreno. Were you a Marine general in a former life?
1315: There's a rumbling fury among the Inverness fans. Midfielder Ian Black is shown the yellow card for scything down Burton O'Brien. Tempers are beginning to fray.
"Ian Black was stupidly booked there. And if you're Terry Butcher, you have to think about taking him off as you don't want to go down to nine men." BBC Scotland pundit Allan Preston
1312: Russell Duncan comes on for Roy McBain as Terry Butcher shuffles his Inverness pack in response to Tokely's dismissal.
McBain is in tears in the dugout after being withdrawn, and is seen to mouth "why me?"
1310: "Ross Tokely looks close to tears as he trudges off. Inverness will play for 50-plus minutes with just 10 men. The home fans are absolutely furious" BBC Scotland commentator Scott Davie
1309: RED CARD
Inverness defender Ross Tokely is given his marching orders for a challenge on Steve Lovell just outside the box.
1307: "It's still 0-0 in this very fraught and tense game." BBC Radio Scotland commentator Scott Davie at the Caledonian Stadium
1305: "St Mirren have got to try to find a bit more width. Garry Brady has been influential, so they've got to get him more of the ball." BBC Scotland pundit Murdo MacLeod
1304: "If I won lotto I would give Accies a million pounds in honour of my grandfather who took me to Douglas Park when i was a wee lad." Mustyfrog on My Sport
Do you think the Accies could persuade their young stars to stay another season if they had another few bob?
1303: John Hughes urges his side forward. Much better from the Bairns in the last five minutes, but they need goals and they've struggled to show a cutting edge of late.
1300: Falkirk's Steve Lovell, who was in the Dundee side that was relegated on the last day of the season in 2005, dithers in the box when he should have struck a first-time shot. What a chance for the Bairns.
"If Lovell had played 20 games this season he would've shot and scored there. That missed chance shows he's just back from injury." BBC Radio Scotland pundit Allan Preston
1258: GOAL!
St Mirren 0-1 Hamilton
Simon Mensing heads home in from a corner to give the visitors the lead.
1257: GOAL!
Motherwell 0-1 Kilmarnock
Mehdi Taouil sets up Danny Invincibile just inside the box and the Australian fires Kilmarnock into the lead.
"It was a bit of a cracker" BBC Radio Scotland commentator Liam McLeod on Kilmarnock's opening goal
1256: Falkirk captain Darren Barr clears the ball under pressure from Filipe Morais. The Bairns are struggling to enter Inverness territory. But it remains goalless and we're still looking for our first goal of the afternoon.
1255: BBC Radio Scotland commentator Liam McLeod drops his notes, which are recovered by the Motherwell reserves.
1254: Just over 20 minutes gone at the Caledonian Stadium and it's the home fans who are in enthusiastic voice.
1253: Manuel Pascali has not recovered from his head knock and Kilmarnock are forced into their second change, with Jamie Fowler coming on in the Italian's place.
1252: "Nobody on this pitch appears able to take a pass or make a pass. It seems they are all waiting for the bobble and the pitch seems to affect every team that comes here." BBC Radio Scotland pundit Craig Paterson as Motherwell and Kilmarnock struggle with the conditions and a meaningless game
1249: Filipe Morais sends a 20-yard shot just over Dani Mallo's goal. The Falkirk keeper looked as though he would've been able to save it if need be, but the hosts are warming to their task and the Bairns have yet to show any menace going forward.
1248: St Mirren midfielder Garry Brady looks the most dangerous player so far in Paisley. Hamilton midfielderJames McCarthy gets some treatment on the sidelines after limping off. McCarthy has been linked with Celtic and a host of English clubs. Could this be his last game for the Accies?
1247: "Re: 1241 nope, i wasn't i was about 13 months away. but it still hurts. If you're a true supporter of a team, grudges are retroactive!" GlasgowJambo1987 on My Sport
Brilliant, that's the spirit!
1246: Falkirk's defence is an uneasy calm after that early Inverness onslaught. Manager John Hughes and Terry Butcher bark orders at their respective troops, you can almost taste the tension.
1245: Kilmarnock are reduced temporarily to nine men after defenders Grant Murray and Manuel Pasquali suffer head knocks in an accidental clash. Gavin Skelton replaces the bloodied Murray.
1244: "That's one of the best saves I've seen live in my life." BBC Scotland pundit Allan Preston in Inverness.
1243: What a save! Dani Mallo denies Richie Foran with an incredible save from six yards. Somehow Falkirk escape, but the Bairns are teetering on the brink here.
Terry Butcher has his head in his hands. Great chance, even better save.
1241: "I'm hoping that the planets align today to see St Mirren make the unlikely plunge into the First division. That will go some way to taking revenge for their capitulation to Celtic on the last day of the '86 season." GlasgowJambo1987 on My Sport
1240: The play and pace of the game at St Mirren Park is quite pedestrian. Neither side attacking with any great purpose. So far, it's got 0-0 written all over it.
1239: Inverness force a corner, but Dani Mallo gathers. Nervous times for the Bairns and manager John Hughes is pacing his technical area like a hungry bear who's just emerged from his cave after hibernation!
1235: Richie Foran has the first effort on target at the Caledonian Stadium when he races clear of a sluggish-looking Falkirk defence, but the midfielder's shot is comfortably saved by Dani Mallo.
1233: St Mirrenmidfielder Garry Brady fires in a shot, but it takes a deflection and goes out for a goal-kick. Lively start from the Buddies.
1232: The away fans at the Caledonian Stadium give their side some tremendous early backing; urging "please don't take my Falkirk away". Stirring stuff.
Inverness manager Terry Butcher, under a baseball cap in the dugout, gives the thumbs-up sign to the home fans behind him.
1230: We're under way at the three grounds. Hang onto your hats!
1228: The Inverness and Falkirk players limber up in the tunnel. Nervous faces all round.
1225: "I think Falkirk might surprise everyone and get out of this." BBC Radio Scotland pundit James Traynor
Falkirk manager John Hughes has urged his troops to show the mental strength to win at the Caledonian Stadium.
Despite the storm clouds in the sky above Inverness, a Falkirk fan is sporting a sombrero. Will the sun be shining on his side by full-time?
1215: Just to clarify: a win for Falkirk this afternoon and a heavy defeat for St Mirren would set alarm bells ringing for the Buddies. If Gus MacPherson's side avoid defeat against the Accies they are all home and dry.
Thanks for all your comments on My Sport!
BBC Radio Scotland pundit Jim Spence says there are about 1,500 Falkirk fans inside the Caledonian Stadium. The tension is building.
1209: "I'm a Celtic supporter who lives in Inverness. I'd just like to wish ICT all the best for today. It'd be great for the city if they were to stay up. PS. Celt's to snatch the league tomorrow." Kennymo08 on My Sport

Inverness have enjoyed five seasons in the Scottish Premier League since securing promotion. Butcher, whose side need a point to secure safety, has warned his troops about the danger of needing a point on the final day of the season.
"I think the most famous case was Liverpool at home to Arsenal in 1989, when Arsenal claimed the title when Liverpool needed a draw," he said.
"We had a chat with players and tried to drum into them a mental toughness."
The DJ at the Caledonian Stadium has already played Mission Impossible and Under Pressure. Nothing like keeping everyone calm, eh?
1145: Are you sitting comfortably? If you're a fan of Falkirk, Inverness or St Mirren then the chances are you're not - and you won't be until your team has escaped the dreaded drop.
Yes folks, it's come down to this. The Scottish Premier League relegation battle reaches a dramatic conclusion this afternoon. Falkirk, two points adrift at the foot of the table, Inverness and St Mirren are all in danger of slipping out of Scotland's top flight.
