1518: Well, that, as they say, is that.
Rangers are Scottish Premier League champions for 2008-2009, ahead of Celtic by four points.
Hearts sealed third place and a Europa League berth last weekend, and today they were joined by Aberdeen who snatched fourth spot.
There'll be a few tears for fans of Celtic and Dundee United.
The league is over, but we'll be back next Saturday for the Scottish Cup Final, where Rangers could bag a domestic double against Falkirk.

First of all, welcome! Second of all, where have you been until now?
Third, I'm glad you asked that... because it's one I can answer. Here we go...
All teams play each other three times, after which the top six teams and bottom six teams split to create two mini-leagues in effect. This process is imaginatively called 'The Split'.
So, that's 33 games out the way. Then the top six and bottom six play each other (five games) reaching 38 games.
It's all in order to make the end-of-season matches meaningful. It's a system that divides opinion, but this year it has certainly worked.

Scotland braced for SPL drama

Apparently Romanov wanted to blood youngsters with third place all sewn up, but the manager wanted to go with his strongest side.

There are no easy games for ANYONE today. Rangers and Celtic have dropped four points to their opponents over the course of the season.

Here are the all-important permutations...
If Rangers win they're champions - plain and simple - no matter what Celtic do.
If Rangers don't win, and Celtic do - Celtic are champions - they have a better goal difference.
And, of course, Aberdeen and Dundee United have Europe to play for...
United need a point to guarantee Europa League football for next season. BUT... if Aberdeen win and Dundee United lose... It's the Dons who will finish fourth in the league with a better goal difference.
