The New Saints move a point clear in the Welsh Premier
Holmes hit the post late on for Saints
The New Saints moved a point clear at the top of the Welsh Premier despite being held 0-0 at Port Talbot.
Tommy Holmes could have sealed a win when his diving header hit the foot of a post just three minutes from time.
Aeron Edwards, Matty Williams and Chris Sharp were all denied by Port Talbot goalkeeper David Cornell, while Kye Edwards went close for the hosts.
Saints moved ahead of second-placed Bangor after they lost 2-1 at home to Prestatyn the previous evening.
With four games to go for the two leading sides the league title could yet be decided on the final day of the season when the two teams meet at Bangor.
