Clayton Blackmore, who resigned as player-manager of Bangor City a fortnight ago, has now now left the club completely to join Porthmadog. Blackmore, who played more than 150 times for Bangor, had originally agreed to stay at Farrar Road as a player.
But following the appointment of Steve Bleasdale as the Citizens' manager on Tuesday, Blackmore has been released.
The former Manchester United star resigned after the third-round Welsh Cup loss, ironically to Porthmadog.
Bleasdale, who will have Brett Harris as his assistant, was appointed Peterborough manager in January 2006, but quit in May after a row over team tactics.
He had arrived at the Posh as assistant to Mark Wright and took over the reins when Wright was sacked.
