Ten-man Donegal Celtic hit two goals in injury-time to snatch an improbable draw against Portadown in Tuesday's Carling Irish Premiership clash.

DC looked in control after two Paul McVeigh goals but Wesley Boyle and Kevin Braniff replied before the break.

Boyle and Braniff then struck two further Ports goals before Celtic had Ciaran Gargan sent off on 79 minutes.

But Paul McVeigh scored on 90 minutes and there was still time for Tomas McCann to score an equaliser.

McVeigh notched his opening goal on five minutes with a precise finish after a superb run by David Hanna.

DC looked in control as McVeigh doubled their advantage on 35 minutes as he lashed home after the Ports defence had failed to clear.

However, crucially the Ports pulled a goal back within a minute as Boyle rolled the ball into the net after great work by Braniff and Henry McStay.

Right on the stroke of half-time, provider Braniff turned scorer as he lashed a glorious 35-yard shot to the net.

Portadown took the lead on 61 minutes as Boyle curled a delightful shot to the net after more good work from the excellent Neil McCafferty.

The points looked secure for the visitors when Braniff fired in their fourth goal on 74 minutes after another Boyle run.

It got even worse for DC when Gargan received a straight red card in the 79th minute for a bad tackle on Chris Ramsey.

Portadown maintained their two-goal lead going into injury-time but there was amazing late drama to come.

Firstly, McVeigh nodded into the empty Portadown net in the 90th minute after Ports keeper David Miskelly had completely missed a long ball from the DC half.

It looked too little too late for the home side but incredibly sub McCann fired a superb equaliser from 12 yards in the third minute of injury-time.

Suffice to say, Ports boss Ronnie McFall will not have been amused.
