Glenavon are being linked with moves for a number of the Glentoran players released by the Oval club.

Lurgan Blues boss Marty Quinn has indicated he will hold talks with Michael Halliday and Kyle Neill, who were released by Glentoran on Monday.

Gary Hamilton could also prove a target for Glenavon.

Hamilton, Andy Waterwroth, Daryl Fordyce, Richard Clarke and Shane McCabe have been transfer-listed by the Glens but remain under contract.

Ballymena United boss Roy Walker has already revealed that he is interested in securing Halliday's signature.

Dean Fitzgerald was also released by Glentoran.
