An early penalty by Kevin Kelbie gives Ballymena a 1-0 win over Institute at Drumahoe for their second away win of the season.
Ballymena United leapfrogged Institute in the Carling Premiership thanks to Kevin Kelbie's 14th minute penalty.
Kelbie fired home from the spot after he had been brought down by home defender David Ogilby inside the area.
Andy Smith failed to connect with a cross soon after while Sean Friars was just wide with an overhead kick.
Declan Divin looped a header over the bar after the break and Dwayne Nelson tipped over Ryan Semple's angled shot in the 86th minute.
