Trevor Molloy opened the scoring for Glenavon

Glenavon secured a comfortable three points away to Ballymena United.

Lurgan Blues striker Trevor Molloy scored the opener with a 25-yard free-kick which flew past goalkeeper Aaron Kerr in the 26th minute.

Molloy's strike partner Tony Grant fired in the second after a goalmouth scramble four minutes after the break.

Former United winger Stuart King sidefooted the ball in after some poor Ballymena defending to make it 3-0 to Marty Quinn's side.
