Richard Clarke bagged a double in Newry's comfortable win

Newry took a major step in securing their JJB Sports Premiership status after this impressive victory.

Stephen Garrett fired City ahead on 27 minutes before Newry keeper Andy Coleman saved Albert Watson's penalty.

The visitors wasted a series of chances before midfielder Richard Clarke slotted past keeper Alan Blayney to double the lead after 66 minutes.

Kevin Keegan blasted home the third and Clarke completed the scoring four minutes from time.
