Martin Donnelly has been a key player for Crusaders this season

Crusaders winger Martin Donnelly has agreed a new two-year deal with the Seaview club.

The 20-year-old, who was a target for league champions Linfield, joined the Crues last summer after being released by Championship club Sheffield United.

The former Northern Ireland Under-19 international has played a major part in Crusaders' impressive form this season under manager Stephen Baxter.

Donnelly scored the first goal in his side's win over Portadown on Saturday.
