Derry City have been drawn away to Premier Division basement club Galway United in the semi-finals of the Eircom League of Ireland Cup.
Cork City host Wexford Youths in the other semi-final - dates and kick-offs for the games have yet to be confirmed.
Derry are the holders and manager Stephen Kenny is already relishing the prospect of a decider against Cork.
"A Derry-Cork final would be special and it's up to us to go to Galway and make that a reality," he said.
"Former Derry players Alan Murphy and Stephen O'Flynn are with Galway now and the are good players.
"We are favourites as our league position is better but the cup is the cup, they have home advantage and their motivation will be high."
